Lampton News - Week 2

Posted on Sep 6th 2021

Monday 6th September 2021

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Welcome to the weekly update for the second week of the Autumn Term 2021.

I am pleased to report that pupils have returned well to school and are now settling well back into the new routines of our ‘new normal’. Assemblies last week focused on our expectations with regard to moving around the school site, learning modes in lessons and our new arrangements for staggered break and lunches.

Currently pupils are taking part in lateral flow testing on-site, and must continue to test twice weekly at home. If your child displays any Covid symptoms they must not attend school and complete a PCR test.

Vaccinations are now available for 16 and 17 year olds and these can be accessed at walk-in centres across the borough. Please encourage those eligible to get vaccinated.

I am pleased to report that the new canteen is fully operational and serving a wide range of hot and cold food and snacks. Please remember that the school is cashless and ensure that your child has funds on Parent Pay.

Thank you for your on-going support of the school.

With best wishes for the week ahead,

Stephen Davis
