Lampton has an excellent track record of examination success. Over recent years pupils between Years 7 and 11 make progress which the Department for Education defines as “well above average”, placing Lampton School in the top 14% of schools nationally for student progress. In 2020 and 2021, despite the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Year 11 students achieved incredibly well, and we are very proud of their results.
Students also make excellent progress in Years 12 and 13. Over the past three years, the progress students have made, puts us in the top 25% of schools in the country. In 2021, we achieved an Alps Grade 1, which means that pupils at Lampton made “outstanding progress”. Our students’ excellent A level results mean that they go on to study a wide range of subjects, including those in highly-competitive fields such as dentistry and medicine, and do so at prestigious institutions. This year, two students have gone on to study at the University of Oxford and 50% of our students have gone on to study at one of the Sutton Trust’s top 30 universities.
