Students and staff at Lampton have been celebrating outstanding results across a range of subjects that leave sixth formers progressing onto the most competitive courses and universities. A record five students have secured Oxbridge places, with one further pending. Overall, 49% of all grades were awarded A*-B, reflecting the significant progress that students have made throughout their studies.
“We are proud of these excellent results achieved by Lampton students in this first year of the reformed A Levels. These results represent much hard work by the students, staff and incredible support from families. As a community we are pleased to celebrate the success of all students, but in particular those who have achieved Oxbridge places this year.”
Stephen Davis, Headteacher
“It’s pleasing to see so many of our students working hard to fulfil their potential. We place a real emphasis on developing character traits like a strong work ethic and emotional resilience, and this first set of results for the new linear courses proves that our students are among the best in the country.”
Mike Bates, Director of Sixth Form
