Monday 11th May 2026

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Welcome to our newsletter for the fifth week of the summer term 2026. It is week A so whole school assemblies are taking place. These are being led by Mr Lane (Chief Administration Officer) on the theme of ‘radical candour’.

The public examinations are now in full swing with the first whole cohort GCSE exams taking place this week. On Friday we said farewell to students in year 13 during their final assembly. We wish all students the very best of luck for their examinations and look forward to celebrating their success on the respective results days in August.

This Tuesday sees the year 10 celebration evening from 16.00 and Thursday the year 7 parents’ evening from 16.00-19.00. Next week we welcome students currently in year 6 and their families to their ‘getting to know you’ interviews on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th May.

Each year we ask members of our school community to complete a survey about Lampton School. Thank you to parents who have taken 10 minutes to complete our annual survey. If you have yet to, we would appreciate your feedback. The survey can be accessed via this link, before the end of the half term.

Please see below the dates of key events happening in school this half-term:

Tuesday 12th May Year 10 celebration evening
Thursday 14th May Year 7 parents' evening: 16.00-19.00
Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th May    Primary transfer interviews

Year 7 Parents’ Evening – Thursday 14th May 2026

We look forward to meeting the parents of year 7 pupils on Thursday.

We consider it vital that all parents attend parents' evening. If you have not already made appointments to see your child’s teacher please contact sbasu@lampton.org.uk and she can make appointments for you. Please check your emails for a schedule of appointments.

Please arrive five minutes before your first appointment and sign in; you will be given a pack containing your child’s report and other important information. Please keep to the appointment times. This helps to ensure the efficient running of the evening for all parents.
