Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Welcome to our newsletter for the second week of the summer term 2026. It is week B so year assemblies are taking place. 

Well done to all students in years 7, 8 and 9 for their hard work and engagement in the core subject assessments which took place last week. The results of these summative assessments will inform student groupings for the new academic year starting on 1st June.

School is closed for students on Thursday 23rd April for an assessment day. Students will be set work to complete remotely for each of their timetabled lessons that day. School returns as usual on Friday 24th April.

Congratulations to our year 9 students who have taken part in the London Regional Mock Magistrates’ Trial Competition and have secured a place in the regional final! A great accolade for our school and the team.

With the public examinations getting ever closer, as a reminder that for year 13 and year 11 their full attendance and punctuality counts with not a moment to be wasted.

Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th May	Primary transfer interviews
Friday 22nd May	Last day for year 11 students
Monday 25th - Friday 29th May	Half term
Monday 1st June	INSET day and start of new academic year
