Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Welcome to our newsletter for the second week of the Spring Term 2026. It is Week B, with year team assemblies taking place.

Last week a group of Lampton students and staff spent time on a residential trip in Germany where they had to put their language skills into practice. Thanks to Mr Conway, Ms Soares-Compton and Mr Marks for accompanying the students. The next residential will see students studying Spanish visiting Madrid at the end of this month. Plans are already well underway for our whole year group trip days which take place in the summer term. Watch this space for more details.

Please see below for the key dates for this half-term. Please note that Friday 13th February is a remote learning day for student. Most students will not be required to be on-site on that day. Details about arrangements for this day will be issued shortly. Monday 23rd February, which is after the half-term holiday, is an INSET Day with school closed for all students.

Tuesday 27th January	Year 8 celebration evening: 16.00-18.00
Tuesday 3rd February	Year 7 celebration evening: 16.00-18.00
Thursday 5th February	Year 10 parents' evening: 16.00-19.00
Monday 9th February	Y11 pre-public exams for core subject begin
Thursday 12th February	Year 13 parents' evening: 16.00-19.00
Friday 13th February	Remote Learning Day
Monday 16th February - Friday 20th February	Half term
Monday 23rd February	INSET Day
