Lampton School Newsletter: Week 38 2024-25
Posted on Jul 14th 2025Monday 14th July 2025
Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
Welcome to our newsletter for the twelfth, and final full week of the Summer Term 2025. It’s Week A with whole school assemblies taking place. These are being led by me and Mr Pavey (Assistant Headteacher) looking back at the past year and thinking about how time can be used in the summer break. Our heatwave uniform adaptations remain in place until further notice as the forecast is still for high temperatures.
The main event this week is our whole school sponsored walk on Wednesday 16th July in aid of our chosen charity SHEWISE: shewise.org.uk. At the time of writing we have raised over £300 so please do look at our JustGiving page and, if you are able, donate to this worthwhile cause. Logistical details about the day can be found in your child’s / children’s’ year team Google Classroom. As a reminder, all students must be dressed in their PE kit and should have sufficient water and sun protection for the day. The forecast is set for temperatures to be over 25 degrees.
Term ends for students in all year groups on Tuesday 22nd July at 12.30pm. The curriculum will be followed right up until this point so it is imperative that your child/children have full attendance. As is our usual custom, the last day of term will be our Diversity Day where members of our community may attend school wearing clothing which represents the diversity of our Lampton community. Again, details can be found in your child’s / childrens’ year team Google Classroom.
Details for the start of the Autumn Term 2025 can be found on the school website and I will outline these in this newsletter next Monday.
With best wishes for the week ahead.

Headteacher
