The purpose of the curriculum is to give your child the knowledge and skills required to thrive in modern London and the UK.

Topics will cover one of three key areas; Wider Community, Personal Development or Relationships

The 9 key concepts addressed across the curriculum are; Identity, Relationships, Risks, Diversity, Rights, Change, Power, Career and Health

Students will be assessed formatively and to track their knowledge, skill and communication of these areas.

How to help your child
1. Keep up to date with world with current affairs by reading a daily newspaper, watching the news or listening to the news on the radio.

2. Engage in discussion with your child about current affairs and the situation within the local community.

3. Allow your child to volunteer locally for an organisation to take a more active role in their local community.
