The DofE is many things to many people, supporting generations to successfully navigate adult life.
DofE Bronze:
- Open to Year 10
- This will be open to a cohort of about 60 pupils this year
- The award is a long-term commitment for the academic year (6 months minimum before being eligible for the expedition)
- There will be an assembly informing pupils of the award cost, expectations, etc… in the second half of the Autumn term
- Sign-up will follow shortly after this assembly
DofE Silver
- Open to Year 12
- This will be open to a cohort of about 20 pupils this year
- The award is a long-term commitment for the academic year (6 months minimum before being eligible for the expedition)
- The award is open to anyone not just individuals who have completed Bronze
- There will be an assembly informing pupils of the award cost, expectations, etc… in the second half of the Autumn term
- Sign-up will follow shortly after the assembly
